Fatal Car Accidents in North Carolina Forsyth County, NC - One Killed in Friday Car Accident on I-74

In 2018, there were 1,442 people killed in North Carolina car or motor vehicle crashes. Although officials have worked to try and lower the number of serious and fatal crashes in our state, this figure represents a 3.3% increase in the number of traffic fatalities compared with 2017.  Also in 2018, there were 45 fatalities reported in car accidents in Forsyth County alone. While many accidents result in only minor injuries or no injuries at all, a portion of accidents can have catastrophic and life-changing effects for both the crash victim as well as their family.

North Carolina car accident law provides that the injured victim can recover compensation when the crash was not their fault. Under our current system, the crash victim cannot even be 1% at fault for the accident or they will not be able to recover. This is a harsh rule that is used by insurance companies to deny taking responsibility for your injuries.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a North Carolina car accident, you need a strong and experienced lawyer on your side to make sure that your rights are protected. Do not take a chance and hope that the insurance company will reimburse you a fair amount for your medical payments and your pain and suffering. The insurance adjuster does not work for you and is only interested in minimizing their financial responsibility for the crash.
