Durham, NC (July 7, 2021) – The driver of an Amazon delivery truck was killed in a crash that happened on Wednesday, July 7th in Durham. The collision took place in the northbound lanes of Interstate 85 at Redwood Road.
According to eyewitness reports, the Amazon truck collided with a tractor-trailer. The truck rolled over following the crash and suffered heavy damage due to the impact. The driver of the delivery truck died at the scene. The driver’s identity has not been released at this time. There is no word on whether the tractor-trailer driver was hurt.
