Charlotte, NC (September 14, 2020) – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene of an injury accident in the city on Monday, September 14th. The crash took place on Monday, September 14th around 7:00 p.m.
Police responded to Barrington Road near The Plaza shortly after receiving reports of a traffic accident. According to officers at the scene, the driver who caused the crash fled the scene before police could arrive. When officials arrived, they located one person suffering from unknown injuries as a result of the collision. The victim was treated at the scene. There is no word on the victim’s condition at this time. Police have not said what led up to the accident and no one involved has been identified at this time.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing. There is no additional information available.
