Johnston County, NC – Two Children Hurt in Car Crash on Zacks Mill Road

Johnston County, NC (June 30, 2021) – Three people were taken to a hospital following a crash that took place in Johnston County on Tuesday, June 29th. The crash happened along Zacks Mills Road after 8:00 p.m.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the accident scene. Troopers say that a vehicle was traveling on Zacks Mills when the vehicle ran off the road. The driver overcorrected the vehicle, re-entered the roadway, and then flipped several times before the car came to rest on its roof. The driver sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Two children in the car were also taken to the hospital in unknown condition. None of the victims involved in the accident have been identified. There were no other vehicles involved in the collision.

Police have not released the cause of the crash. No additional information is available.
