There are hundreds of thousands of reported car accidents in North Carolina each year. According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, there were nearly 80,000 injury crashes reported throughout our state in 2019. Many of the victims of these car accidents were hurt when they were involved in crashes that were not their fault. Negligent motorists are extremely prevalent on our roadways and their actions can result in life-altering accidents that take place very suddenly and without warning.

Following a North Carolina car accident, it is important to have a complete understanding of your legal rights relating to the crash. If you were not at fault for the accident, this includes the potential to recover compensation for your damages. Some types of compensation that you could receive include payment for pain and suffering, medical bills, lost wages, and potentially more. When you have been seriously injured in an accident, you should seek to recover the maximum compensation under the law so that you are not faced with being financially responsible for the negligent and careless actions of other motorists.
