Wayne County, NC – EMS Responds to Box Truck Crash on N.C. 70

Wayne County, NC (March 3, 2021) – EMS crews responded to the scene of a box truck crash in Wayne County on Wednesday morning. The collision took place on U.S. Highway 70 near Bridgers Road around 8:45 a.m.

According to a report, a Tar Heel Basement Solutions truck was involved in the accident. Photos from the scene appear to show the truck after it left the roadway and collided with a guardrail. The guardrail suffered heavy damage and there was debris strewn across the roadway. It is unclear at this time if any other vehicles were involved. Paramedical and rescue crews treated at least one injured victim at the scene. There is no update on the victim’s condition. The cause of the crash is not known.
