Fatal Car Accidents in North Carolina  Tabor City, NC - Two Killed in Head-On Crash on US 701

Fatal car accidents in North Carolina sadly claim the lives of more than 1,400 people every year. Deadly crashes are caused for a variety of reasons, including speeding, distraction, impairment, and more. Head-on car accidents are among the most serious and severe collisions that take place on our state’s roadways. These accidents often happen suddenly and without warning, leaving the other vehicle with little time to react in order to avoid an accident. Further, head-on accidents mostly take place at high speeds which further results in a higher likelihood of a catastrophic outcome.

Under North Carolina law, car accident victims and their families will have certain rights if they or their loved ones were affected by a North Carolina car accident. In cases where the other driver was negligent, the victim or their family can recover compensation for the injuries caused, including payment for pain and suffering, lost wages, funeral or medical bills, and possibly more.
