Red Oak, NC – Two Killed in Car Accident on N.C. 43

Red Oak, NC (November 6, 2020) – Two men lost their lives in a crash that took place in Nash County on Wednesday night. The accident happened around 6:45 p.m. on North Carolina Highway 43.

According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Robert Woodrow Wilson, III was driving a Pontiac Grand Am when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a northbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The driver of the Grand Am, 42-year-old Old Robert Woodrow Wilson, III, and his passenger, 53-year-old Paul Leon Lee, were both killed in the collision. There is no word on what caused the Pontiac to leave its lane of travel.  Police have not determined if any charges will be filed and it is unclear if any other injuries were reported in the accident.

Authorities are still investigating the crash at this time. There is no additional information available.
