New Hanover County, NC – Two Hurt in Head-On Crash on Holly Shelter Rd.

New Hanover County, NC (September 30, 2020) – Police in New Hanover County responded to the scene of a two-car crash on Wednesday, September 30th. The crash took place near the intersection of Holly Shelter Road and Bishop Road.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol was called to the crash scene shortly after the accident took place. According to a report from the scene, two vehicles were traveling in the opposite direction when one of them crossed the centerline and struck the other head-on. One of the vehicles ended up on its side after the crash. Both drivers were taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center following the collision. There is no word on the extent of their injuries or the cause of the accident at this time.
