High Point, NC – Brian Christopher Howell Killed in W. Green Dr. Motorcycle Crash

High Point, NC (September 21, 2020) – A 43-year-old man from Browns Summit was killed in a motorcycle crash that took place in High Point on Sunday, September 20th. The crash happened around 2:12 a.m in the westbound lanes of West Green Drive near the intersection with South Elm Street.

According to a report from the High Point Police Department, Howell was traveling in West Green when he came to the intersection with South Elm. As he crossed over the intersection, his motorcycle was struck by a sedan traveling southbound through the intersection. Howell was ejected from his bike following the accident and was thrown into the roadway. He suffered critical injuries to his head and neck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the sedan did not stop following the crash and was not at the scene when police arrived. Officers are actively looking for the suspect at this time.
