Greensboro, NC – Firefighters Hurt when Truck Overturns on I-73

Greensboro, NC (June 23, 2020) – Three firefighters were injured in a crash that took place in Guilford County on Tuesday. The crash was reported on Interstate 73 near the interchange with US 220.

The firefighters from the Pinecroft Sedgefield Fire Department were all riding together in a fire truck when the truck overturned on the highway. All three victims were taken to a local hospital by Guilford County EMS. There is no word on their conditions at this time. The cause of the crash has not been revealed but the fire truck was responding to another call when the accident took place.
