Garner, NC – 43-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash on Fayetteville Road

Garner, NC (March 2, 2022) – A 43-year-old man was killed in a crash that took place near Garner on Tuesday, March 1st. The accident occurred around 10:40 p.m. on Fayetteville Road near the intersection with Kitchen Drive.

According to a report from the scene, Angel Roberto Anderson was hit by a 2015 Dodge Challenger in the southbound lanes of Fayetteville Road. Anderson later succumbed to his injuries caused by the accident. The driver of the Challenger remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

At this time, there is no word on the cause of the crash and the driver has not been identified. An investigation remains ongoing. Police have not said whether any charges are expected to be filed. Motorists were asked to avoid the area while officials worked at the scene.
