Charlotte, NC – Police Investigate Injury Crash on University City Blvd.

Charlotte, NC (August 26, 2020) – Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene of an accident in the city on Wednesday, August 26th. The crash was first reported to the police around 8:00 p.m.

Officers arrived at University City Boulevard near the intersection with Tryon Street shortly after receiving a call regarding a crash. When they arrived, police found at least one person suffering from injuries as a result of the accident. Rescue crews were also dispatched to provide aid to the victim. There is no word at this time on the nature of the crash or the extent of the victim’s injuries. Authorities have not released any details on the cause of the accident at this time and there is also no information on whether any other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation by the CMPD at this time. There is no additional information available.
