Charlotte, NC (November 22, 2020) – Police in Charlotte responded to a car accident on Interstate 77 on Saturday, November 21st. The crash took place in the northbound lanes near mile marker 28.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol investigated the accident. There is no word at this time on the number of cars involve or the events leading up to the crash. Rescue workers also responded to the scene. A total of five victims were transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The conditions of the victims are not known at this time. It is not clear whether any charges are expected to be filed in connection with the accident.
An investigation is ongoing. There is no additional information available.
