Wesley Chapel, NC – One Killed, Three Hurt in Crash on Potter Rd. & Forest Lawn

Wesley Chapel, NC (July 4, 2021) – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a deadly accident in Wesley Chapel on Saturday morning. The wreck happened around 7:30 a.m. on Potter Road near Forest Lawn.

The Wesley Chapel Fire Department, along with police and rescue crews arrived just after the collision occurred. According to reports, the crash involved a black sedan. The sedan was heavily damaged and its airbags were deployed as a result of the collision. Workers were forced to extricate one of the victims from the vehicle. The patient was airlifted from the scene to a local hospital. There is no word on their condition. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene while two others suffered serious injuries. None of the victims have been identified at this time. Police have not provided any details on the events that led up to the accident.

No additional information is available. An investigation remains ongoing.
