Lexington, NC (July 13, 2022) – One person died in a car accident in Lexington on Wednesday, July 13th. The accident took place at approximately 7:30 p.m. on North Carolina Highway 150 near Fleabo Road.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the accident scene. When troopers arrived, they confirmed that one person died at the accident scene. The cause of the accident has not been released at this time and there is no word on the identity of the victim. It is unclear whether anyone else was hurt in the accident. The road was closed while officials investigated the scene. Motorists in the area were advised to find an alternate route of travel if possible.
