Durham, NC – Man Hurt in Car Accident on N.C. 55

Durham, NC (December 22, 2020) – A man was seriously hurt in a car accident that took place in Durham on Friday, December 18th. The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 5200 block of North Carolina Highway 55.

According to the Durham Police Department, a 27-year-old man was driving a 2005 Cadillac southbound on NC 55 when he collided with a 2017 Ford Escape that was turning out of the parking lot of an ABC store. The driver of the Cadillac was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police later determined that Dale Isaiah Taylor was driving the 2017 Escape. Taylor is wanted on charges of aggravated felony serious injury by vehicle, driving while impaired, reckless driving, speeding, driving while license revoked, and driving without insurance.
