Charlotte, NC - Injury Crash Reported Monday on Eastway Drive

Charlotte, NC (June 1, 2020) – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department was on the scene of an injury crash on Monday, June 1. The crash was reported around 8:00 a.m. on Eastway Drive near Sugar Creek Road.

Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash. Tow trucks, police, and an ambulance were all at the scene. At least one person was transported to the hospital for treatment. There is no word on their condition at this time. Police have not said what caused the crash to occur.
